The HM8000 system is a cost effective way of creating test sets consisting of two instruments in one. The HM8001-2 mainframe houses the power supply and has slots for two modules. Four modules are available: a power supply, a multimeter, an LCR meter and a function generator. A blanking panel is also available which can either be used to build custom circuits or instruments, powered by the mainframe, or simply to fill unused slots.
