B&K Precision announce a new DC resistance meter

These meters are ideally suited for measuring contact resistance of relays, switches, interconnects, PCB traces, bonds, and cables. Designed to make 4-terminal resistance measurements simple and reliable, both the BK2840 and BK2841 are equipped with an intuitive front panel complete with a keypad and a 4.3-inch colour touch screen. These meters also provide fast cycle times for production automation and include a bin comparator function.
 

The BK2841 adds extended range, accuracy, temperature measurement and offset voltage compensation (OVC). This meter includes a temperature probe and has two built-in temperature compensation functions. Both models feature low power resistance testing (LPR) modes and variable measurement speeds for balancing throughput with accuracy. The handler interface with high-speed measurement capabilities enable the BK2840 Series to evaluate a large quantity of components and be integrated into an automated test system. PC interfaces such as RS232, USB (USBTMC and virtual COM) come standard on both models while the BK2841 is also LAN enabled.  Both units are supplied with 4-wire Kelvin leads and the BK2841 includes a temperature probe.
