Compact RF Signal Generator with hardware and software options
The SMB100B base unit is a compact, high performance signal generator base unit with hardware and software options
- Frequency range from 8 kHz to 1 GHz, 3 GHz or 6 GHz - hardware option specified at time of ordering
- Outstanding single sideband (SSB) phase noise of < –134 dBc (measured) at 1 GHz and an offset of 20 kHz
- Very low wideband noise of < –153 dBc (typ.) at 15 MHz < f ≤ 6 GHz and an offset of 30 MHz
- Ultra high output power of 34 dBm (measured) at 1 GHz
- Compact form factor with 2 HU and ¾ 19" width
Please note that most hardware options are not customer fit units but can be retrofitted by R&S service. The frequency range options SMBB-B101, -B103 and -B106 are not installable post factory and must be specified at the time of ordering.
